The Rehancement Group, Inc. (TRG) is a professional services and consulting firm committed to supporting government customers. We are seeking a dynamic Indexer and Records Analyst to support the United States (U.S.) Department of the Treasury (TREAS), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) with Records and Information Management (RIM) support services.
BEP's main objective is to enhance and modernize the RIM program. This initiative aims to address existing challenges, establish a robust framework, and transition the Bureau to a fully electronic environment that aligns with the National Archives and Records Administration's (NARA's) requirements and industry best practices. The initiative involves conducting a detailed records inventory, implementing an Electronic Records Management (ERM) solution that leverages the Microsoft Purview Records Management Feature, completing the digitization process of paper records, and providing training to Bureau stakeholders.
This position is currently hybrid. Work may be performed at the Western Currency Facility (WCF) located at 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131, or remotely.
50 percent of scheduled hours are performed on-site, and 50 percent are performed through telework. Core hours are 6:00 am - 4:00 pm CST.
U.S. citizenship and successful background check is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implements industry-standard indexing tools and methodologies, ensuring that records are categorized systematically for optimal search results.
- Implements quality assurance measures to verify the accuracy and completeness of indexed records.
- Creating, organizing, and maintaining records in both electronic and paper formats
- Ensuring that records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Responding to requests for records from internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with document processing and workflow management
- Following established procedures for document retention and destruction
- Performing data entry and database management tasks
- Supporting other teams and departments as needed
- Organizing and filing documents in accordance with company policies
- Implement industry-standard indexing tools and methodologies to categorize records systematically.
- Ensure optimal search results through effective record categorization.
- Conduct quality assurance measures to verify the accuracy and completeness of indexed records.
- Analyze records to enhance searchability and retrieval efficiency.
- Apply knowledge of metadata standards in records management
- Collaborate with government customers to understand their indexing needs.
- Maintain documentation of indexing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma is required.
- US Citizenship is required.
- 5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Ability to pass a background investigation.
- Ability to obtain a government clearance.
- Expertise in indexing and analyzing records to enhance searchability and retrieval efficiency.
- Experience in indexing and record analysis roles, preferably in RIM projects.
