The Rehancement Group, Inc. (TRG) is a professional services and consulting firm committed to supporting government customers. We are seeking a dynamic Records Clerk to support the United States (U.S.) Department of the Treasury (TREAS), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) with Records and Information Management (RIM) support services.

BEP's main objective is to enhance and modernize the RIM program. This initiative aims to address existing challenges, establish a robust framework, and transition the Bureau to a fully electronic environment that aligns with the National Archives and Records Administration's (NARA's) requirements and industry best practices. The initiative involves conducting a detailed records inventory, implementing an Electronic Records Management (ERM) solution that leverages the Microsoft Purview Records Management Feature, completing the digitization process of paper records, and providing training to Bureau stakeholders.

This position is currently hybrid. Work may be performed at the customer facility at the District of Columbia Facility located at 14th and C Street SW, Washington, DC, 20228, or remotely.

50 percent of scheduled hours are performed on-site, and 50 percent are performed through telework. Core hours are 7:00 am - 5:00 pm EST.

U.S. citizenship and successful background check is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handles day-to-day records management tasks, including inventorying, filing, organizing, and maintaining records.
  • Familiarity with records classification and retention policies.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of a systematic records classification system.
  • Must have experience in records management and clerical roles.
  • Sorting and storing documents safely and securely.
  • Reviewing and analyzing organizational documents to ensure compliancy.
  • Keeping proper records of all company forms
  • Filing and providing backup copies of all documents and forms
  • Keeping all forms in proper condition, organized and filed.
  • Using document management software to upload or scan paper documents.
  • Retrieving documents for authorized personnel.
  • Ensuring document storage to comply with laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation.
  • Ability to obtain a government clearance.
